OpenSSH server is very picky when it comes to permissions: The destination users. ![]() Reply to this email directly, view it on GitHub, or mute the thread. Mostly two things happen when key authentication is not working: Your public key is not in the destination users authorizedkeys file. You are receiving this because you commented. I've solved the following error: "Could not mount filesystem: Mount path could not be created." by changing the mount path under "Mount" -> "Macfusion" -> "Mount Point" to "/Users/myuser/Desktop/myHost" -> it worked. I upgraded to the newest Fuse for OSX version (3.7.1) but am getting an error when starting Macfusion. Anyhow, it again takes more than 30 seconds to open a folder, and it disconnets after switcthing 2-3 folders. Since installing High Sierra I can no longer use Macfusion. It is version 2.0.2 and now it connects as usual (though when I manually installed version 2.0.2, it didn't work). I see that the keyboard and trackpad of your MacBook Pro has stopped responding since youve updated to macOS High Sierra. Use ARD to copy MacFusion to a remote computer. ![]() I did as you said, but now get a different error, “Could not mount filesystem: Mount process terminated unexpectedly.” In a finder window I see a folder with my host’s name appear and then in a fraction of a second disappear again, before the error message appears. So I went to the Timemachine to restore MacFusion from a month ago. At the remote computer, logged in as a normal user (without admin privileges): MacFusion works, but Growl preference pane is not in.
